Stay In Touch

With e-mail, it’s easy to send messages all over the world. You can write to anyone that has an e-mail address. You can even send them a link to another site or an attachment to download. {links go to definitions page}

My uncle lives in Alaska. We stay in touch by sending letters and pictures by e-mail.

Dear Uncle Mike,
I’m on the news tonight for my science fair project.
Here’s the link to our TV station’s Web site. Check it out!
Love, Brad

Brad’s Rule #1:
Send e-mails to friends and family. Ask your parents or your teachers before you e-mail someone you don’t know.

Helpful Hint:
DON’T WRITE IN ALL CAPS OR USE A LOT OF EXCLAMATION POINTS!!!
This is considered "shouting" on the Web. People might think you are mad or even rude.
