Finding information on the Web is as easy as typing key words, like
"bicycle + first invented," into a search engine. A list of Web
sites will appear. I even found an invention timeline. (Did you
know that paper was invented in 105 AD, but the pencil
wasn’t invented until 1565 AD?1)
Helpful Hint:
Some sources are better than others. Anyone can add
anything to the Web, true or not. Check out more than one source for information. Ask a parent or teacher if you’re not sure which sources are most accurate.
Brad’s rule #2: Copyright reminder: If you borrow text or ideas,
make sure you give credit to your sources. For an example, check
out my Sources page. These are the sources I used when creating
this Web site.
